Trung T. Doan is the Chairman/President/Chief Executive Officer of SemiLEDs since January 2005. Prior to founding SemiLEDs, Mr. Doan was with Applied Materials, Inc where he served as the Corporate Vice President of Applied Global Services (AGS) Product group. He was the former President and CEO of Jusung Engineering, Inc., a major semiconductor/LCD equipment company in Korea, and had also served as the Vice President of Process Development at Micron Technology Inc. Mr. Doan has served as Board Member of many public and private companies: Advanced Energy Industries, a publicly held manufacturer of power conversion and control systems, EMCO, a publicly held manufacturer of advanced flow control devices and systems, Nu Tool Inc., a semiconductor technology company, and Dolsoft Corporation, a private held software company. Mr. Doan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he graduated with honors, and a Master of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Albert Chu is our Vice President of Technology. He has been with SemiLEDs since January 2005. He has over 10 years of research and development experience in optoelectronics field. He has been invited as keynote speaker at different universities. He holds over 30 patents in LED devices technology area, and has published over 25 scientific and technical journal papers (SCI) and 50 conference papers. He holds a PhD in Electro-Optical Engineering from National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan.

Chris Wang is our Vice President of Administration. He joined SemiLEDs in 2005. He has over 20 years of experience in all phases of human resources function and business administration. He received his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Wales , United Kingdom.

Ilkan Cokgor is our Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He has over 20 years of research, product development, marketing and sales experience in the fields of optoelectronics, LEDs and solid state lighting. He holds a PhD in Optoelectronics from King's College, University of London.

Mark Tuttle is our Executive Vice President of Operations. He has been with SemiLEDs since June 2010. He holds over 200 patents in diverse technical areas, and has over 30 years of RD and manufacturing experience in the semiconductor industry, including serving as vice president, director, manager, and engineer in Micron Technology, Inc. and in Micron Communications, Inc. Mr. Tuttle is a former chairman of the Boise State University Engineering Advisory Board, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Boise State University.

Timothy Lin has served as our Interim Chief Financial Officer since January 2013. He was our Deputy Controller for over two years as part of the finance team responsible for finance and accounting, including budgeting and forecasting. Mr. Lin has over 15 years of accounting and finance experience in the fields of US GAAP, IFRS, PCAOB standards and SEC rules and regulations. Mr. Lin holds a BS degree in accounting from Santa Clara University and licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the US.
